Will come back? No
What I ate:
I like that they separate the dish onto separate plates so that you don’t need to grab your own, but at the same time, we lose out on taking pictures of the plating.
Kirin Special Platter with Roasted Suckling Pig
  • 7/10
  • The 5 components that make up this dish were okay
  • The suckling pig was not done well, the skin was crispy but the meat was too cold and lacked fattiness
  • The smoked salmon was also very cold, it tasted not fresh at all
  • The jellyfish lacked flavour
  • The ham lacked fat and the meat was too gritty
  • The mushroom wrapped in skin was okay, the mushroom was nicely seasoned
Sautéed arctic surf clam, scallop and chicken with selected vegetable
  • 6.5/10
  • The vegetables were nice and crispy
  • There wasn’t much scallops and clam, but at least it tasted kind of fresh and not overcooked
  • There was a good amount of chicken and it tasted alright
Deep fried crab claw wrapped with minced prawn
  • 8/10
  • The outside was fried well – making it nice and crispy
  • The minced prawn texture was very bouncy
  • Flavour was good
Bird nest soup with fish maw and Chinese ham
  • 6/10
  • Lack of birds nest and lack of Chinese ham
  • The soup lacked flavour and tasted a lot like MSG

  • 4/10
  • Worst rock cod I’ve ever had
  • It was overcooked and old tasting
  • Lacked flavour
  • It tasted really fishy and needed more ginger to take away the taste
Fook Chow fried Rice
  • 3/10
  • The fried rice and NOT fried rice, it wasn’t even fried
  • The vegetables in it were the ends of broccoli, bits of vegetables and meat
Stewed E-Fu noodle with Chinese mushroom and straw mushroom
  • 5/10
  • Overly oily
  • Only had noodles, had no mushrooms
Two kinds of Dim Sum Dessert
