Bubble Waffle Café

Date Visited: April 2 2015
Address: University Village, 102-5728 University Boulevard, Metro Vancouver
What I ate:
20150402_123648
Malaysian Laksa + Oil noodle and Vermicelli + pork intestine + sliced lamb
  • 7/10
  • Good amount of noodles and coconut flavour
  • The pork intestine was a bit too chewy but pretty flavourful
  • The sliced lamb was way too overcooked
  • The laksa soup base was a nice and spicy ( so beware) but there was a bit too much MSG
Website: http://www.bubblewafflecafe.com/
Type of Restaurant: Hong Kong Style, Chinese, Asian, Noodles
Price Range: $
Overall: 7/10
Will come back? Maybe – depends on if I’m desperate when I’m at school
Summary: I always stick to the Malaysian Laksa soup base. This base is good if you like cheap food and don’t mind MSG. It’s pretty customizable and the portions are okay.
