It’s located literally right next to the Shandao Temple MRT and up the stairs of the market basically.
It’s centrally and conveniently located but is it worth the line? Well, luckily the day we went there wasn’t much of a line. Yes it went down the stairs but it only took around 5 -10 minutes and we were at the front. Know what you want to order, because everything works very quickly.
I had the Shao bing with you tiao and hot dou jiang (soybean milk). So what was the verdict? Was it worth the hype or not?
To be honest, it was good but not worth the hype. When I bit into it, it was crunchy and crisp which was great and the chewiness came through from the youtiao. But I thought it was just good nothing special though. I wish the shao bing was a little hotter and a little flakier. At the end, it is carbs wrapped in carbs so it was somewhat difficult to finish. Overall I would rate it a 7/10.
It was okay, but not worth going back for.
